This is a fundraising event. Half our proceeds will be donated to Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants. we will also be taking donations at the ticket office and during the event : we keep our tickets cheap so please bring cash if you're feeling generous !

--- Lesbians and Gays Support the Migrants aim to stand in solidarity with refugees and migrants through direct action and fundraising, building systems of mutual support amongst intersecting marginalised communities. They also aim to counteract right-wing efforts to pit LGBT+ people against refugees and migrants, recognising that LGBT+ people recently were (and often still are) in a similar position in society to refugees and migrants in terms of state violence and scaremongering, discriminatory coverage in the right-wing press. They are currently campaigning to end deportations and the hostile environment policy, and shut down all immigration detention centres, taking creative actions such as ‘hacking’ Tube adverts in London by replacing them with instructions on how to stop a deportation.

‘Through fundraising and creative direct action, we stand in solidarity with all migrants. We fight back against homonationalism. We build on a proud history of queer solidarity to say: no one is illegal.’ ---
